What awaits a man after a divorce?
Today there are a lot of articles and videos about how a woman has a hard time after a divorce, how she can survive a divorce, and there is little material regarding a man’s life after a divorce from his wife.
According to statistics, in 70% of cases it is the woman who initiates divorce.
As a rule, she does this only when it is impossible to tolerate (for example, her husband’s life is “on two fronts” or his alcoholism).
If 70 years ago there was only 4% of divorces, now it is 73%.
People began to feel freer, financially independent, and views on family values have changed since Soviet times. Whether this is good or bad, the future will tell.
According to statistics, childless families and families with one child get divorced much more often. Families with two or more children are stronger, apparently because it is more difficult for a woman to raise and support more children alone, just as it is morally more difficult for a man to leave the family as a father of many children, so they are in no hurry to get a divorce.
A man can initiate divorce in the following situations:
1. The “empty nest” syndrome has hit: if previously the spouses were united by caring for children, now that the children have grown up, there is a lack of understanding of what to do next together.
