Technique “I — Ideal”
Who am I who has achieved the goal? What am I like in this place?
This technique will help determine your place in the future. Investigate whether my place is taken by someone else? Feel what it’s like to be someone who has achieved a goal (in the place of your ideal self).
The ideal self is a metaphor. It’s not about perfection.
When we set a goal, we begin to feel a lack. This shortage is from the future.
The Self who realizes this goal will have qualities that are not available to me now. Sometimes we see these qualities in others. And we have the following thoughts: “someone else deserves this place, but I don’t.”
And then we unconsciously place another person in the place of our “Ideal Self”.
This phenomenon is often found when working with clients.
For example. The client set a goal to meet a man and create a relationship with him. I suggested imagining myself in the future. The one who has already met a man and lives with him.

- men always liked her, she was always married and happy with her marriage..
As the work progressed, the client began to feel that she could already occupy this place. She felt that this place was hers.
