Symbols are the whispers of the unconscious. Once we “listen” to our dreams or what symbols capture our attention during our waking hours, our depth becomes more accessible to us. We endow symbols not only with cultural or historical meanings, but also with individual ones. Behind each symbol there is something amazing and unique for us, clear only to us. All you need is courage and willingness to listen to your depth.

I will talk about some symbols in my articles and notes. Let my words remain a background for you, fertile soil for the birth of your unique meanings and interpretations.

“We call a symbol a term, name or even an image that, in addition to its common usage, also has a special additional meaning, carrying something vague, unknown… Therefore, symbolic is a word or image whose meaning goes beyond the direct and cannot be precisely defined or explanation. When the mind tries to grasp a certain symbol, it inevitably comes to ideas that lie beyond logic.” (Carl Gustav Jung, “Man and His Symbols”)

DRAGON — wisdom, life force, initiation, transformation.

It is a symbol of unbridled nature and the life-giving power of water. He is chaos and he is a force for change. Hidden knowledge, supernatural wisdom, potential and transformation. Unites the Snake and the Bird, Spirit and Matter. An old wise soul and pure energy.

He is a master of the elements and can change form at will. The Dragon of Air is mind and light. The Fire Dragon is creativity, passion…
