Practice “Getting rid of moral debts”

All our lives we play some roles — daughter/son, brother or sister, wife/husband, mom/dad, girlfriend, etc. And we often experience that feeling of guilt that we did something wrong somewhere or raised the bar too high, or resentment that we were not understood somewhere, and maybe anger or hatred and much more, quite unpleasant. From time to time we return to these moments, situations, cling to them, cannot let go, we scroll through them in our heads and exhaust ourselves.

Moral debts have a very difficult and negative impact on us, on our state of mind and development. It’s like an anchor that prevents you from moving forward and takes you back to the past.

I share with you the excellent practice of “Getting rid of moral debts.”

Find time so that you are not in a hurry and no one bothers you.

Take a sheet of paper, or maybe even more than one.

Write the current date and your name at the top.

Next, you formulate the topic on which you will write (one role at a time), where you think that you owe someone something, didn’t give it to someone, or did something wrong to you, etc. Draw a horizontal line from the left to the right edge of the sheet. Below you write everything that comes to mind. Describe the situation, your emotions, your state, why you acted this way and not otherwise.

It is very important not to overthink it, to write as if in spirit, not to replace words, as it may seem, with…
