What is healthy optimism and how does it differ from positive thinking? I’ll share steps to creating healthy optimism!

Today I very often come across the fact that people have an extremely negative attitude towards positive thinking. They perceive it as something unhealthy, illusory, having nothing in common with the real picture of the world. And I understand them. Indeed, blind optimism can be harmful to a person, because it does not allow him to soberly assess reality. However, it has nothing to do with healthy optimism.

Healthy optimism means a type of thinking in which a person looks at the world sensibly, but with “interspersed” positive attitudes towards life. He reacts rationally to situations, can look critically at himself and the people around him, but gravitates toward positive thinking. This allows him to be confident in his own success (even when there are no guarantees of that same success), to take bold actions, to realize his own inner potential and to be an optimist. Moreover, in this optimism there are no painful illusions that force a person to look at the world through rose-colored glasses. But they break glass inside.

Steps to Healthy Optimism

How to become an optimist, but not live in constant illusions? I am often asked about this during consultations. And today I am sharing with you actionable steps that will lead to the desired mindset!
