I exist too, or family intertwining
Feeling our right to belong to our family or clan is one of the most important feelings we ever experience.
A sense of security and belonging dictates how we live and what we do. We cannot be cut off from our own. This is a heavy burden with consequences not only for those excluded from the family/clan, but even for future descendants.
We are connected to each other by invisible threads of kind. And this thread is ancestral memory. Which does not allow us to forget those who were unjustifiably erased from conscious memory a very long time ago. And then the descendants of the new generation take on this burden of forgotten fate in the clan, so that the clan system never exhausts itself and is renewed from generation to generation.
In my constellation practice, and just in life, I very often come across family entanglements. When someone painfully lives through someone else’s fate.
This happens when our ancestors leave unresolved conflicts, unlived scenarios in their destinies, and then new born family members will be forced to unknowingly get involved in solving the problems that their ancestors left behind. Starting with parents and ending at least 5 generations ago.
It is believed that 7 generations influence us. On our life, choice. (True, I have never seen anything like this in practice. Maybe partly because we ourselves don’t know our great-, great-….)
