The first days in the gym are the most difficult. And first of all, it is difficult psychologically. Why?

Firstly, many eyes of those who practically “live” for years in the gym are staring at you. Yes, they evaluate you, study you. New things always attract attention, and even you know this very well. Therefore, you need to take such things calmly. You might think that you will look at the floor all the time and not pay attention to anyone.

Secondly. There are a lot of new and modern equipment in the training room, with which at first you have to “communicate on a first-name basis.” Some novice athletes try to avoid them altogether, so as not to appear stupid and inept in public. There is no shame in not knowing how to work on different equipment. For help, you can contact any experienced athlete and ask them to explain the principle of operation of this or that equipment.

Third. To feel as comfortable as possible, you can put on headphones and listen to your music. It often happens that very heavy and loud music is played in gyms. Predominant genre: metal, hard rock. Such an atmosphere, according to those involved, is motivating and maintains a fighting spirit for a fruitful training. And many cannot cope with such a load.
