How to help yourself during lockdown?
On the eve of the next lockdown, the following questions become relevant: 1) how to save your own strength; 2) how to restore your own resources in situations where most methods are unavailable. The ideas collected here are the result of my personal experience and the proven experience of my clients.
Firstly, the idea that we have access to an endless source of resources helps us to save our own strength.
As soon as we begin to worry that resources, and our strength, in connection with this, will run out, this already increases the level of internal tension, which means it wastes strength that could be used in a more constructive direction.
Secondly, we ourselves are an endless source of resources. We are able to maintain our internal energy levels by doing small acts of self-care every day.
No matter how trivial it may sound, it is worth putting yourself first in your personal world, and then recovery occurs faster and at the lowest cost. Even if you are the mother of the family or the most irreplaceable employee of the company, and you cannot loosen control over the external situation, it is much more important to monitor your own condition. And if you notice that at a particular moment your condition leaves much to be desired, it is worth making efforts to restore it, rather than solving as many external tasks as possible at this moment.
