It is very difficult to accept yourself when some character traits seem unbearable, especially if in society they are condemned and considered negative and unworthy.
What is emotional validation of negative character traits?
Emotional Validation is the ability to accept your feelings and character traits.
Validate character traits ≠ agree with or approve of them.
Character validation means that a person recognizes his personality traits, feelings and behavior because he had good reasons for feeling or behaving that way.
That is, you simply could not express yourself in any other way in some circumstances.
Character validation is a refusal to cliché and place oneself in a Procrustean bed of stereotypes about what a good person is or what behavior should be considered bad without taking into account the context.
