Case: Symbolic marriage with your child
Getting out of the car and heading to the bar, the young woman was alarmed and even a little distracted. “Ksyusha, this is just a date, no one is forcing you to marry the first person you meet!” — Mom’s words were spinning in my head and only added to my anxiety. And why did she agree to her mother’s persuasion? Oh, yes, these endless conversations about how you are soon forty, and time is running out, the female age is short and parents are already tired of waiting for their grandchildren. Parents are already tired…
Immediately after graduating from the pedagogical institute, Ksenia and Andrey got jobs as teachers at school, she as a physics teacher, and he as a history teacher. They always felt good together: at the institute desk, while cramming lectures, on walks in the parks, and even when they both got a sore throat — they also felt good, because they were together.
And then, in order not to be separated for a long time, Andrei offered to work together at the same school, and he also proposed to Ksyusha. They decided to get married in the summer, when they both had their own savings, and to move in together now. Ksyusha’s parents warmly welcomed their future son-in-law, gave the young couple the largest room in the apartment and helped them with everyday issues.
