Anxiety in relationships

“You’re not listening to me at all!” “Do you understand me!” “I’m not talking to you anymore!”

Claims, manipulation, resentment, jealousy are often just what we see on the surface.

Behind all this there is often hidden anxiety, enveloping, driving you into a stupor, making you think that you are helpless.

When we feel like our connection with our partner is broken, we become afraid. Very often, a whole chain of events unnoticeably builds up in your head, leading to disaster — to separation.

Let me give examples from practice:

“He told me that he was tired of my constant fatigue — I think that this means that he will soon get tired of me — He will leave me — I will go crazy with grief”

“A pretty girl got a job in his department — He will communicate with her one way or another — He will definitely like her — He will start dating her — He will fall in love — He will change — I can’t stand it, and we will break up — Then there’s emptiness”

“He came today irritated — He probably feels bad at home — That means he feels bad with me — He will leave me — No one will need me anymore.”

“He came here today looking kind of happy — He hasn’t been like this with me for a long time — He was probably talking to some girl — He feels better with her than with me — Our relationship is collapsing — Just Aaaah!”
