About anxiety

Anxiety is a negative emotional experience, which is characterized by the expectation of something dangerous, is of an uncertain nature and is usually not associated with specific events.

Anxiety, unlike fear, has no boundaries.

There are several types of anxiety:

1. Situational rational;

2. Situational irrational;

3. Personal.

Situational rational anxiety is associated with some kind of uncertainty.

When we don’t know something, it’s a little scary. This is normal.

Such anxiety is associated with the events that a person has to experience, but such events have not yet occurred in his experience.

For example: moving to another city, getting married, a new position, a new team, taking on new responsibilities at work, having a child.

Situational irrational when there is too much anxiety and a person cannot control it. That is, such anxiety prevents a person from living: sleeping, eating, going out, doing some things.

Personal anxiety is associated with a feature of the nervous system.

That is, anxiety is part of the personality. And as a character trait -

anxiety.

When talking about anxiety, it is important to note its degree. You can roughly allocate an anxiety scale from 1 to 10 points.
