All doors are closed in front of me
Sometimes life very clearly demonstrates our attitudes to us.
A girl contacted me (permission for publication was received) who could not bring herself to change her boring and unsuitable job. He says that I understand with my mind that I have experience and education, but it’s still scary. I can’t even decide to send my resume to the vacancies I’m interested in, let alone go for an interview. We began to explore her fear, the origins of low self-esteem, the internal self-saboteur, etc.
She comes to one of the meetings and laughs. Says:
“Yesterday I saw so clearly the installation that stops me, as if in a movie they showed everything we were talking about in ten minutes… I went to visit a friend who I had never visited before. I approach the entrance a little earlier than we agreed and see a closed door with a code. I understand that I didn’t ask for the code and apartment number. I’m dialing my friend, she doesn’t answer. Apparently she’s busy with final preparations and doesn’t hear. I’m standing outside the door, waiting — it’s cold, it’s raining, and the indignation is growing. I also scold her for not keeping her phone nearby. And I didn’t ask myself to send all the contacts in advance. Finally I hear the bell, I shout:
- I’m already here, open it quickly, I’m cold as a dog!!
- Yes, our code has not been working for a month, is the door closed??
